Loode-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Loode-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu was established in 2025 through the merger of L\u00e4\u00e4nemaa Metsa\u00fchistu and Arved Viirlaiu P\u00f5hja-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu. As a result of this union, it became one of the largest forest association in Estonia, with nearly 1,500 members. Loode-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu combines the 21 years of experience of P\u00f5hja-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu and the 15 years of expertise of L\u00e4\u00e4nemaa Metsa\u00fchistu, bringing together knowledge and best practices in sustainable forest management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What sets Loode-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu apart is its diverse membership. A significant number of our members are of Swedish origin, as many descendants of the historical coastal Swedes still live in L\u00e4\u00e4nemaa. Because of this, English is also one of our working languages. Additionally, many of our members are forest owners living in Tallinn, with their forests located in Northern Estonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the association has nearly 1,500 members who collectively own more than 35,000 hectares of forest land. We offer our members a full range of forest management services, helping them manage their forests sustainably and profitably.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of 2025, when we started operating as Loode-Eesti Metsa\u00fchistu, 1 486 forest owners had already joined us. We are excited to see how, by working together, our association\u2019s membership and forest land will continue to grow.

FSC Certification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since 16.10.2013, the Central Cooperative of Private Forests has been managing the FSC forest certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FSC certificate ensures that raw materials are separated from non-certified and uncontrolled forest material throughout the supply chain, making it possible to determine the origin of the material and trace it to the final product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
